hi,

I installed edsec and run on localhost, however I didn't receive email for login info, so cannot login as well. how to resolve this issue?

I checked system log, error message is "Program mode requires special privileges, e.g., root or TrustedUser.". I didn't run edusec as root in linux, do I have a way to change from sendmail to say google smtp? thanks.

I confirmed it cannot send email via sendmail since it is openshift environment. who can give me an encrypted password, I can update into database so I can start to use edusec?

Hi,

This will not send you email. Well your user name and password is same email address which you entered at the time of configuration.

looks like edusec doesn't support utf-8, will it be in the future?

Hi Brent,

Yes correct our current version does not support UTF-8.

Our new version will be released up to this month end and it will support UTF-8.

You can inform us if there is any special requirement.
